I started Transition Insight as a vehicle for values-driven, customer-obsessed product delivery (project/program management) in 2010. This site explores the systemic context for managing compute and data including money - information technology - in philosophical terms. The mechanisms and processes for product delivery reflects underlying architectures. Agile/DevOps is a philosophy and culture of distributed autonomous (customer-centric) incremental delivery and execution.  It requires a philosophy (i.e. virtual architecture founded on objective value - ethos and logos - anarchy) as a foundation in order for formal technical architecture - i.e. tools and processes (optimally geared to Conway's Law) to prevail. 

Sound institutions require an ecology in which objective value may be created through processes aligning interests of all (not only immediate) stakeholders in a radically transparent and free marketplace. 

Venn-complex tribes form (A Quest Called Tribe) based on intrinsic creative talent and shared values and not external authority. The contextual environment is then an objectively pluralistic one in which collaborative behaviour is easy and complements competition.

Communities or partnerships work autonomously to build and sustain capabilities indefinitely that offer positive-sum game to the commons echoing Noam Chomsky's vision of anarcho-syndicalism.  Holistically, this ensures the macro political economy is internalized and in balanced. It's time to evolve - risks multiply.
